Built around families.
JNZ Insurance Services was founded in 2006 and named after the agency owner's sons, making the business personal from the very beginning. The agency was built to help families make better insurance decisions without feeling rushed, confused, or treated like just another policy number.
Two decades in, we still operate that way. As insurance in Florida and Georgia has become more expensive and more complicated, rising rates, tightening eligibility, hurricane and flood considerations, roof age requirements, changing carrier guidelines, our focus has stayed the same: clear guidance, fast communication, and coverage reviews that actually explain what you are buying.
Today we're a team of insurance professionals, operations, sales, service, and licensed commercial specialists, working out of two Saint Johns County offices. Two of Richard's sons, Nicholas and Zachary, are licensed agents on staff. The agency is still locally owned, still family-built, and still focused on the same thing it was on day one: helping people make better insurance decisions.

We're an independent insurance agency writing personal and commercial coverage across Florida and Georgia. Our personal lines focus on auto, renters, boat, RV, motorcycle, umbrella, and life, with home, condo, and other coverage available too. Our commercial focus is on general liability and commercial auto, with the full set of small-business lines also available.
Because we work with multiple carriers, we can shop your coverage based on the policy type, state, and situation rather than fitting you into one company's product. When a better fit is available, we'll tell you. When the coverage you already have is the right one, we'll tell you that too.

Family-owned, family-built.
JNZ was founded in 2006 and named after Richard O'Connor's sons. Two of them are licensed agents on staff today. We're not a call center, when you walk into either office, the people answering the phone and writing your policy are the same people you'll talk to at renewal.
Independent and multi-carrier by design.
We aren't tied to a single company. Working across multiple appointed carriers means we can shop coverage based on your situation, not the carrier's product line. When the market tightens or a carrier pulls back in Florida, having options matters, and we have them.
Built for the long game.
Many of our customers have been with us since 2006. We focus on coverage reviews at renewal, real follow-up after the sale, and being available when something changes, a new car, a new home, a roof replacement, a teenager getting their license. Insurance is a long relationship; we treat it that way.

Where we work.
JNZ Insurance Services has two offices in Saint Johns County, Florida, one in Saint Augustine and one in Saint Johns, and writes coverage statewide in Florida and across Georgia where licensing and carrier appointments allow.
Saint Johns County is our home base. Within the county, we serve customers in Saint Augustine, Saint Johns, Fruit Cove, Switzerland, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, World Golf Village, Palencia, Hastings, and Elkton. We also write business across Mandarin, Jacksonville, and Duval County.
Wherever you live in our service area, you talk to the same team. Both offices share a phone line, and a licensed agent will pick up or call you back the same business day. Walk-ins are welcome at either location during regular hours.
